Local businesses

Whether you're a contractor, designer, maker, or store owner, Fromebase offers an easy way for you to sustainably offload your surplus materials.

Call Fromebase on 07943 008029 to arrange a collection

Our reuse store in Frome stocks surplus building and construction materials, such as timber, tiles, paints, and accessories. So, if you've had to over-order for a job, or have a product line that's about to leave your range, we can help you free up space without the hefty waste disposal costs.

  • What materials does Fromebase accept?

Our store stocks just about anything you'd find in a DIY store, and we're especially interested in unused timber, tiles, paint, and accessories. We cannot accept aggregates, plasterboard, or any materials containing hazardous substances. If you're unsure whether your material is one we could take, feel free to drop us an email or give us a call.

  • Will Fromebase collect from us?

Yep! Our collection van currently collects within a 10-mile radius of Frome town centre every Friday morning. During our pilot phase, we're only charging a nominal fee for collections (our long-term goal is to undercut your waste disposal costs) so book now to save money.

  • Can Fromebase help me demonstrate my business's social value?

Giving surplus materials to Fromebase is an easy way to minimise your business's carbon footprint and safeguard the environment by diverting surplus materials away from skips and landfill. Our longer-term ambition is to be able to support local businesses that want to demonstrate their social impact and value, which may help when bidding for public sector projects.
